Victoria Beckham Removed Implants for Vogue Cover

Word emerged in the media a few days ago that Victoria Beckham had wanted to ditch her WAG image for good and had consequently decided to have her silicone implants removed and replaced with smaller ones. One of the reasons she chose to do so was also because this was the only conceivable way in which she could land the cover of the fashion bible Vogue, as the Daily Mail informs.

Apparently, the always eager for attention fashionista had been courting Anna Wintour from the magazine for many months in the hope that she would be featured on the cover of one of the upcoming editions of the prestigious mag. There was only one catch, though, insiders reveal, namely that Wintour would not have Victoria with her current implants because they made her ridiculous. Therefore, she decided to have the third surgery to remove them.

“Anna said she would consider putting Victoria on the cover, but told her to lose those ridiculous implants before it happened.” a reportedly well-informed insider says for the British tab. It is an already well-known fact that, when it comes to most things pertaining to fashion and especially to what runs in Vogue, Anna Wintour has the final say. In this context, it would make sense had she really asked Victoria to downsize. Understandably, Posh has not yet made any comment on the reported surgery.

Victoria Beckham, though hailed by many as a true fashionista and fashion icon (now, a promising designer as well), is yet to break onto the US market, which is why she might want to be featured in Vogue because that would bring her considerable exposure. However, whether she would be willing to undergo surgery to attain her goal is debatable at least, several US publications point out.

As we also informed you a couple of days ago, Victoria is believed to have had a third surgical intervention on her chest, to bring her cup size from a 34DD to a more “manageable” B. She is said to be recuperating in France with husband David and their three sons, which would also explain why she has not made so many public appearances lately.

Teen Mom Farrah Abraham used her MTV salary to pay for Breast Implants?

The stars of hit reality TV show Teen Mom are known to receive rather large pay cheques from MTV.

And it seems Farrah Abraham has put towards some of her generous salary towards a body overhaul.

The 19-year-old single mother has sparked rumours of plastic surgery after putting her figure on show in a string bikini while holidaying in Orlando, Florida.

While Farrah, a former cheerleader who aspired to be a model, has not yet addressed the whispers, some observers are convinced she has had a breast enlargement.

Dr. Anthony Youn, a plastic surgeon, tells America’s Hollywood Life he believes she has gone from an A to a C cup.

‘Overall, it fits her frame quite nicely,’ Dr. Youn said. ‘She looks like she could be a little swollen, but from looking at her, the procedure was done in the last two months or so, and that is to be expected.’

Farrah shot to fame on the series 16 And Pregnant, which documents the difficult journey of pregnant teenage girls in high school.

After giving birth to her daughter Sophia, who turns two next month, she went on to star in the spin-off series Teen Mom.

Cameras followed her as she struggled to come to terms with the death of the father of her child.

Derek Underwood was killed in a car accident just two months before Sophia was born. The couple – who dated on and off for two years – hadn’t spoken for four months before he died.

She has also had a very tumultuous relationship with her mother, Debra Danielson.

Danielson charged with domestic assault after an argument with Farrah over her newborn escalated into an altercation and police were called.

Danielson pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of interference with a police officer and was ordered to take anger management classes.

They have since been to family therapy sessions together.

Farrah, who is rumoured to earn around $65,000 per season, has attended culinary school and hopes to open her own restaurant.

She stars in the series alongside Amber Portwood, who spent 24 hours in jail last week on charges stemming from her alleged attack on Gary Shirley, her ex-boyfriend and father of her little girl Leah.

Teen Mom 2, which stars a new batch of mothers, is set to premiere on MTV in the U.S

Jordan "Katie Price" Celebrity Surgery Starts a Trend

Britons are becoming increasingly obsessed with their appearance, sparking a boom in plastic surgery.

Celebrities who splash out on facelifts and implants and the increasing amount of TV coverage may have started the surge, say experts at BUPA.

The private health care provider reported a 20 per cent increase in cosmetic procedures at its 34 UK hospitals in 2003.

Demand is particularly high among 25 to 35-year-olds, reflecting the desire of young professionals to improve their appearance or remain youthful looking as they approach middle age.

Breast enlargement is the most popular procedure, accounting for more than one in four of all cosmetic procedures last year – with the number of women operated on up 28 per cent on the previous year.

Around 100,000 British women are now thought to have had implants and the increasing popularity of breast enlargement comes despite warnings from U.S. researchers that they may make it harder for doctors to spot the signs of cancer.

BUPA also saw a 38 per cent increase in the number of facelifts performed, the biggest increase for any procedure.

Nose reshaping, eyelid surgery, breast reduction, breast uplift and tummy tuck operations are also becoming increasingly common.

This is despite recent reports highlighting concerns that many clinics are failing to properly inform patients of the risks involved in the most common treatments, such as Botox injections.

Dr Annabel Bentley, BUPA’s assistant medical director, said people have a right to cosmetic surgery if they wish, but should carefully consider the potential pitfalls and seek more than one doctor’s opinion.

‘Interest in cosmetic surgery is increasing and there are now

a wide range of procedures,’ she added.

‘Many people want to change their appearance in some way, such as altering a feature they’ve always disliked.

‘Plastic surgery alone will not solve any personal problems or land you a dream job. Weigh up all the options and make sure it is absolutely right for you.’

A report from the Consumers’ Association earlier this year said that many clinics overlooked or failed to properly explain the risks and possible side-effects of a range of treatments.

These included laser and chemical peels to remove the top layers of skin and produce a ‘youthful glow’ and Botox injections to get rid of wrinkles. Actress Leslie Ash infamously discovered that seemingly simple cosmetic procedures can go badly wrong when she was left with a ‘trout pout’ after treatment to plump up her lips.

Angelina Jolie on Plastic Surgery "I Haven’t Had Anything Done"

Angelina Jolie has one of the most famous faces in the world — and it’s all natural, she insists.

“I haven’t had anything done and I don’t think I will,” Jolie, 35, says in a new interview with British paper The Daily Mail. “But if it makes somebody happy then that’s up to them. I’m not in somebody else’s skin to know what makes them feel better about themselves. But I don’t plan to do it myself.”

In the extensive interview, the actress opens up about life with Brad Pitt and their six kids — who’ve helped her “enjoy” her high-flying career. “I enjoy the work more now because I enjoy life more,” she says. “When you have children the whole world shifts for you. You have these little people that make you laugh and remind you every day of what is important, and you get to be their parent and that’s the most important thing you’ll ever be. Everything else comes from that.”

The Jolie-Pitts had a blast shooting The Tourist in Venice last spring. “My whole family came, so we had this beautiful home looking out at the Grand Canal,” she said. “The kids got very familiar with it and they often did their homework in boats, to break up the day.”

Date nights away from the kids, Jolie added, are crucial: “You also have to stay focused on each other so that you stay strong. And you staying strong as a couple keeps the kids in an even better place.”

The city of canals made for some watery date nights, she admitted. “One night Brad and I went out to dinner and I wanted to get dressed up and wear my heels. By the time we’d finished dinner we had to borrow welly boots because the water had risen so high that you couldn’t walk down the street,” she explained. “But that’s the magic of Venice.”

The Oscar-winning star also had fun bonding with her costar Johnny Depp and his family during the shoot. “We got together as families,” she told the Daily Mail. “Brad, Vanessa and all the kids; that was lovely. Just family stuff.”

What kind of lessons are she and Pitt teaching Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox? “Hopefully I’m giving my children the sense that they are deeply loved and deeply safe,” Jolie mused. “At the same time we are hopefully encouraging their individuality as they get to know who they are, and not getting in the way of that. That’s why they are six very strong individuals.”

Once again, she shoots down concern over daughter Shiloh’s tomboy look. “I don’t think it’s for the world to interpret anything,” Jolie says of her 4-year-old. “She likes to dress like a boy and wants her hair cut like a boy and she wanted to be called ‘John’ for a while…she wants to be like her brothers. It’s who she is. It’s been a surprise to us and it’s really interesting, but she’s so much more than that –- she’s funny and sweet and pretty. But she does love a tie.”

Plastic Surgery Beauty Pageant

GIRLS are already making the cut before they enter a special competition for plastic surgery beauties.

The unusual pageant in Budapest, Hungary, is only for contestants who have enhanced their looks with cosmetic surgery.

Normally beauty competitions insist competitors can only have natural charms to take part.

But organisers of Miss Plastic 2010 have thrown the rulebook out of the window.

Judges say the standards are so high for first place it’s nip and tuck among the 22 contestants in the national rounds.

Girls can only qualify for the contest if they have received cosmetic surgery and must bring in their medical notes from the ops to prove it.

Judges will then rate them on their beauty — and a special medical panel will add extra marks once they have rated the quality of the plastic surgery.

The winner will go on to a face-off with international contestants in Miss Plastic Universe.

Contestant Timea Kertesz, 27, has had a boob job and buttock implants.

She said: “It started when I was 17 and I persuaded my mum to agree to an operation to pin back my sticking out ears.

“I suddenly discovered I was much more confident and from that moment on I have never stopped improving what nature gave me.”
