Infection Forces Woman With ‘World’s Largest Breasts’ to Downsize

A severe infection has forced a Texas woman with the world’s largest breast implants to downsize.
Sheyla Hershey had been trying to save her size M cup breasts for three months, myfoxhouston.com reported, but doctors were unable to make that happen.
Instead, they were forced to remove the implants along with most of her breast tissue that was too damaged to salvage. Hershey said she has just enough tissue left for surgeons to attempt reconstructive surgery in the next few months.
“Right now, I don’t have any skin left to close the hole I have there in my breast,” Hershey told the news station.
During the months while she was battling the infection, doctors used a special vacuum to suction the infection from her body 24 hours a day.
“It’s the only thing that has saved my life, to be honest,” Hershey said.
Hershey’s health started to deteriorate following her most recent breast implant surgery in Brazil in June 2010. Soon after, she came down with staph and strep infections that ultimately threatened her life.
Breast surgeries with implants of this proportion would never be permitted in the United States, due to federal requirements and regulation.

Heidi Montag’s Getting A Breast Reduction! Says She’s ‘Desperate To Go Back To Normal’!
Just one week after the untimely death of her plastic surgeon, Dr. Frank Ryan, Heidi Montag says she regrets having her plastic surgery spree that included 10 procedures performed in one day.
The former star of “The Hills” recently spoke to Life & Style and revealed that she now wants to have her outrageous G-cup implants removed.
“I’m desperate to go back to normal,” Montag, 23, admits to the magazine. “I’m downgrading and going a little smaller, to a D or a double D.”
Though it’s been more than nine months since she went under the knife, Montag says she is still in severe pain and her body has not acclimated to the over-the-top breast augmentation.
“I have major anxiety about it,” she confides. “I was taking painkillers but they weren’t working, so I stopped. It hurt either way,”
In addition to the physical pain, the busty blond reality star’s new assets have prevented her from properly hugging her four dogs or wearing anything that isn’t a custom-made design.
“I’m obsessed with fitness but it’s impossible to work out with these boobs,” Montag says. “It’s heartbreaking. I can’t live an everyday life.”
With the passing of her confidant Dr. Ryan, Montag fears that she will be stuck living in her cartoon-like figure forever.
“I feel trapped in my own body,” she confesses. “There’s just no fixing it. Dr. Ryan knows the work he did, he knows everything.”
According to Life & Style, Montag has been shopping for a new surgeon in South America.
This may explain why TMZ cameras recently spotted her in Costa Rica. However when her soon-to-be ex-husband Spencer Pratt was also seen on the same hotel premises, skeptics were weary the fame-hungry couple were pulling yet another publicity stunt surrounding their split.
However, Montag was quick to squash the rumors, telling People.com that she agreed to have Pratt join her to help with her move. But things suddenly turned sour when news broke that Pratt was planning on writing a tell-all about their relationship and was trying to sell several sex tapes to Vivid Entertainment.
Although she initially denied the existance of a sex tape, Montag now admits that she’s not 100% sure it wasn’t made.
“I’m not aware of his filming me, but I wouldn’t put it past Spencer,” she tells Life & Style. “He’s a sneaky guy and has little cameras everywhere that he got from China.”
Having the world witness her bedroom antics wouldn’t be the only reason why Montag would be embarrassed if the tape were actually released.
She says, “I’m mortified at the thought that people could be looking at me naked before I had the surgery.”

Real Housewife of New Jersey, Dina Manzo, Gets Breast Reduction Surgery
Real Housewife of New Jersey, Dina Manzo may not flip tables or go into debt like her co-stars. But she does have plastic surgery in common with them.
37-year old Dina Manzo recently announced via an interview with Life &Style that she underwent breast reduction surgery after getting breast augmentation in 2000.
Dina underwent surgery in April of this year to correct a breast augmentation surgery that gave her back pain and made her feel self-conscious.
“I woke up from surgery and just knew I was super huge and needed to get the implants taken out,” she told Life & Style of her 2000 surgery. “I went back within the first two weeks and got them reduced.”
“I was uncomfortable and felt like I was carrying a child around with me all the time,” she says. “Plus, you don’t realize it until you have big boobs, but they’re a pain when it comes to dressing.”
Her third surgery has taken Dina from 32DD size breasts down to a 32C cup.
“Everyone says I look the way I should now,” she boasts. “I’m proportional!’
“I’m so excited to go bikini shopping!” she says. “I’ve always had to wear cover-ups because I’ve been self-conscious. When you have big boobs, there’s a fine line between looking tasteful and looking tacky.”
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “A Breast Reduction involves removing excess breast tissue and then reconstructing the breast shape to a smaller and more lifted one. Big-breasted women love this procedure because it alleviates excessive weight and stress on their shoulders and back that most had been suffering from. They can also feel more confident in certain clothes and bathing suits that they may have been embarrassed to wear prior to their surgery.”
Board certified Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer says, ” The results from Dina Manzo’s breat reduction look great. I am sure she is happy to have the weight off her chest. There are two sets of patients. Those with very large breasts want smaller breasts and those with very small breast want larger breasts…”
Despite her past bad experience with plastic surgery, her new results have left her looking forward to getting more work done in the future, as she ages.
“When something falls and needs to be lifted, it will be lifted,” she says. “I can promise you that.”
